5.8 million LEDs create an image of Mount Fuji
A beautiful landscape created from 5.8 million LEDs is on display every night in the Japanese theme park Nabana no Sato in Kuwana, Mie. The LEDs simulate a landscape in the shape of the famous Mount Fuji and its surroundings. The LED landscape is on display until March 13, 2011. The enormous number of LEDs used to create this landscape provides an impressive sight even on photos. Nabana-no-Sato is a theme park near the Kiso River and the annual theme is "Fuji and the sea", hence the choice of the subject depicted with LEDs. The large theme park is known for its varied flower gardens covering an area of approximately 8,000 square meters. The park has bene using LEDs for decorative purposes and has become one of the major local tourist attractions in Japan. More info
