Handcrafted Robolamps

I see that some people have some wrong ideas about the lamps, thinking that the Robolamps are made of junk or that you can buy all the pieces for assembling them in a hardware store. Well, it's not that easy. I spent few years to find the right stuff for them; they are made from many different pieces adapted by myself and ordered from many different factories and countries. Finding ways to combine pieces that are not supposed to be an artwork, self-standing, something whose purpose was to put in or on walls, effectively creating a useful and complete design."

Torias is the caterpillar among the Robolamps. No obstacle or structure he can’t manage! Torias is very slow but he can climb anywhere. When he gets vexed, forced to attack or defend, he rolls up and fires laser beams from the spikes on his back.

Torias employs an E27, 15-25W, 220 V light bulb with a maximum power of 40 watts. Torias can also be used on 110 V outlets simply by changing the bulb and using a suitable plug adapter (German 2 pin supplied as standard).
