BEE4 is the fourth generation of the Berkeley Emulation Engine (BEE), a full-speed FPGA prototyping platform from BEEcube, Inc. BEE4 is designed to address a major problem with multiple FPGA platforms used for system verification and validation, which is their inability to operate at real world speeds. Based on multiple Virtex 6 FPGAs, BEE4 meets the latest design size capacity needs and additionally offers massive amounts of memory for both RTL and application debugging needs, all without sacrificing communication speeds between all BEE4 components, including FPGAs, memory and I/O.
